| Introduction | "The Good Life" is a phrase commonly used in the Italian culture to represent how life is supposed to be: good and sweet. I have always been intrigued by their way of life and simple beauty. In a world where living life to the fullest is so easily clouded over by a job and staying busy, I want to do just the opposite. I want to live peacefully and simply. I want to enjoy every aspect of life as best I can.
There is another popular phrase, “L’arte di non fare niente”: The art of doing nothing. This has always inspired me to enjoy the “nothing” parts of my day; to enjoy sitting and watching the sunrise without my phone or to take time in the day to allow myself to do nothing. I want to to sit and listen to nature and I want to see the world through simple and peaceful eyes. I want to use my passion for art and travel to allow myself to meet new cultures and people and to really use my time as best as I can. That is my goal. To “Vivere la dolche Vita." I'm choosing to live "The Good Life." |
