| Introduction | Barbara Polster is a visual artist working out of Cleveland, Ohio. Her work has been exhibited in numerous institutions, including the Cleveland Museum of Art, University of Michigan Slusser Gallery, the Cleveland Foundation, Wall Eye Gallery, and the Cleveland Institute of Art. Awards include Top 20 Finalist in the CIA President's Traveling Scholarship Competition, Best in Show, ArtCares 2010, the President’s Award (The David and Ann Deming Best in Show Award) and the SIE Committee’s Choice Award in the Cleveland Institute of Art Student Independent Exhibitions 62 and 63, respectively. She interned with the Progressive Collection before receiving a BFA in Drawing from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2010. |
