| Introduction | Nature inspired paintings and photography. Carol Bruno is a life long resident of the Jersey shore who has always had a creative side but her love affair with watercolors began when she started taking classes. “I love how becoming an artist has made me look at my surroundings in a whole new way. I have always loved the outdoors but now I see details that I never noticed before.” Carol is inspired by nature, the beach and her own backyard. She is also a photographer who started capturing the world around her for reference photos but has now incorporated them into her business “yankeegirl art” whose name comes from her beloved sports team, The New York Yankees. Carol’s work is owned privately around the world. She sells locally and online on Etsy.com and FineArtAmerica.com. Women’s Running Magazine has featured Carol’s art work “The Girlfriends Running a Marathon” in their 2012 Holiday Gift Guide.
