| Introduction | This blog combines three things I am passionate about, Slovenia, photography and walking. I first fell in love with Slovenia when I went to Lake Bonhinj many years ago. My husband and I liked it so much we bought a holiday home in the Prekmura region. From there we have loved exploring and photographing Slovenia's varied landscape, as well as its neighbouring countries of Hungary, Croatia and Austria. My other passion is walking, and there are no end of opportunities to explore Slovenia by foot. Many tourists are drawn to the Lake Bled, but there are so many other exciting areas to explore on foot. So I thought I would use this blog to share some of the walks I have most enjoyed and my favorite photographs. I hope you find it enjoyable and useful. I would be happy to hear your suggestions of great walks in Slovenia and will put them on my "bucket list" for the future. |
