About me

Introduction I'm an anthropological archaeologist, and I study Maya culture (both Classic-era and Colonial) in Mesoamerica; most of my fieldwork to date has been in Guatemala. I have particular interests in the intersections between text and material culture, as well as the investigation of identities in the past.
Interests objects, material culture, thinking about things, noticing how people construct and convey identities using the material world
