Introduction	Susie Arnett is a media consultant and idea coach living in Los Angeles, California. She loves ideas and the process of making them real. When she was 8, she wrote her first proposal to turn her bedroom into a separate country. The business model centered around charging tolls to all adults who entered. As an adult, she entered the television business where she could play with ideas for a living. As a producer and development executive for MTV, Lifetime, Warner Brothers, and HBO, she spent almost 15 years pitching, taking pitches, developing, and bringing to air documentary and non-fiction programming like MTV News, HBO’s “Naked States” and a 2-hour block of programming for Lifetime called “The Place” (which later become Oxygen). Working with advertisers, cable operators, and creatives, she was able to bring content to market effectively and with integrity. After developing and creating two of her greatest ideas (named Ely and Everly), she became a mother and learned how to nurture ideas at a whole new level.
