| Introduction | Wow! I get to write something about myself,hmm to be humble or conceited? Well for starters, Kat DeVil isn't exactly my real name it's a play on words so to speak.I'm a Califas girl through and through but have called AZ home for 7 years.I really miss Cali. Mmm Grandma's frijoles in a burnt tortilla with sour cream. Oh how I miss home! I have always wanted to create a Chicano based magazine and I think this is the closest I'll come to it. I love Art and writing. I've had art pieces in ASU's Anthropology department as well as in Vision Gallery. This year I'm extra honored to be the guest Curator for this years Dia De Los Muertos Exhibit as well as having a piece in the exhibit. I have had a few poems published. Journalism is where I wanted to leave my mark,but I made a right turn in Albuquerque (a Bugs Bunny line) and well I still haven't reached my final destination.The gordita hasn't sang and the party isn't over yet so perhaps there is still time. |

I was in a bar with my friend. I got up to go to the bathroom,as I was walking the bathroom appeared to get farther away. All of a sudden I felt arms around my waist and a voice whispered in my ear "what are you doing?" I responded that I was going to the bathroom. the voice then says mija,you're walking backwards! Yea I've never been able to drink Long Island Ice T''s again
