Introduction | I am a fifty-something IT transformation, IT Service Management and IT Governance specialist with a smattering of IT Risk, and Data Centre Management, having recently moved from working as a technology integration specialist with one of the 'Big Four' into an amazing role with an Alberta government commission. While I started this blog with a view to providing observations of the world based on my own somewhat distorted and biased view, I find that it became a way to discuss my challenges with oralpharangeal cancer. Now the focus is going to change; I've had a hemorrhagic stroke which demands discussion. By using this blog, by writing down some of my thoughts, no matter how superficially, I am putting much of the rest of my life and challenges into perspective. Thinking about what goes into the blog focuses my thoughts. The final product may come across as trite, trivial and maybe even inconsequential, but it helps me begin to articulate the things that do need to be said. I just need to get disciplined about writing them down! REMEMBER TO USE THE 'LABELS' A LITTLE LOWER ON THE SCREEN TO JUMP TO TOPICS THAT MAY INTEREST YOU! |

The love potion you made tastes terrible. How will you drink it?
Uh, it isn't for ME to drink... the real trick is how to get HER to drink it!
