Introduction	Welcome! I'm a Christian wife and homeschooling work and stay at home mom of six children - five that I gave birth to and one that we adopted domestically in March of 2011 (a sweet baby boy with Down syndrome!). We are a fun-loving family living in the Traverse City area of Michigan that has been homeschooling since 2001. I have a passion for the Lord, for my family, for the lost, for stamping out illiteracy, restoring others (including myself) to truth, for orphans, and for real food eating (usually ;). Two of my sons, one born in 2002 and one born in 2004, were diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. One in November 2011 and one in September of 2014. They are both med-free and on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet. No pain. No flare-ups. Nothing. Very healthy. I am so grateful!
Interests	Homeschooling, reading, parenting, movies, cooking, adoption.
Favorite Movies	Facing The Giants, Courageous, Fireproof, Timechanger, Flywheel, The Grace Card, Star Wars IV and V, Beauty and The Beast (yep, the new one) anything with Marvel characters (except The Fantastic Four) Also unashamedly a fan of the show and cast of Supernatural. If you REALLY know that show, you know how awesome it and the cast really is.
Favorite Music	Christian, Need To Breathe, NewsBoys, Kutless, Francesca Batistelli, Britt Nicole, Mozart, classic rock, and some 80's rock, anything from The Nutcracker Ballet. I don't really have a particular genre that I'm privy to. :p
Favorite Books	Bible, Narnia series, Christian Heroes Then and Now, The Bronze Bow, Twice Freed, Created To Be His Help Meet...anything faith-based to help me in my walk with the Lord. I love historical fiction, too.
