Introduction Tammy Renaud is an occupational therapist with more than 12 years of experience incorporating animals and nature into the healing process. She is a Delta Society Pet Partners Team Instructor and Evaluator and has consulted with animal assisted therapy programs in the U.S. and European countries. Tammy is also a consulting OT and foster trainer for Texas Hearing and Service Dogs, in Austin, TX. Tammy has experience working with marine mammals, as well as land mammals. She was State Coordinator for the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network. Tammy also worked with the Full Circle Program in Clearwater, FL, where she facilitated interactions between children with disabilities and marine animals. As AAT Coordinator for Hope Therapy at Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX, Tammy has worked with rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, chinchillas, llamas, dogs, and cats providing animal assisted interventions to facilities in the Houston and Galveston areas. Her background and love for animals has led her into this exciting field, and it is her goal to share her experiences with others who have similar interests.
