| Introduction | Graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts in 2003 from Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT). Working as a practicing Fine Artist from 2003 till now. Have exhibited extensively through New Zealand in various group shows. Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Wallace Art Awards in 2005, and was 2nd place Winner in BMW Art Awards 2005. Finalist in other high profile awards including Waikato National Contemporary Art Award and Norseweart Award. Shifted from Taranaki to Wellington in May 2008. Have competed at a National level in Race Walking from 1999 - Now. Was 2006 and 2007 10,000m National Road Walk Champion, and 2007 National 3000m Track Walk Champion. Spent 6 weeks training in Canberra at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in 2008 with the top Australian Walkers. Finished 9th place in 2008 Australian 20km Road Walking Championships. Spent 1 month traveling through Italy in 2008 |
