Introduction	We, the Regular students of Indira Gandhi National Open university, to enable regular and distance students to better provide for the needs of student body; to help student activities achieve their maximum effectiveness; to provide for meaningful address of student concerns and perspectives through the principle of democratic representation; to foster observance of the shared goals and ideals of the university community; to develop a sense of responsibility for our own conduct and for the welfare of this university; and to protect the individual and collective rights of students do associate ourselves as a Regular students society and do hereby establish this constitution for the regular apolitical student society of Indira Gandhi National Open University
