| Introduction | oh dear. i am a scatterbrained single mom with a too big heart, a too small wallet, and a never-full-enough library. i love to read and write, and i am an artist, an illustrator. i have one daughter, who is my life and my joy, and there could never be words to allow me to adequately express to you how much i love her. i am verbally inarticulate, i trip over my words and speak in circles and sound like a moron, but there was a time when i was the smartest kid around. i promise i'm intelligent. mostly. music is my life, i don't know how people can live without it. i like to drive, i like photography, i like doodling and typing and researching the oddest subjects just for the heck of it. there's so much to say, i suppose, but let's leave it there. |

| Favorite books | ha. hahaha. that's like asking me which breaths i've pulled in have been the most important to me. i have a hundred favorite books. a thousand. i usually read a 700 page book in a day, and go through a series a handful of times the first year if i like it. harry potter has to be at somewhere around 18 times for the whole things through, and 25 times for some of my favorites. anyway. you get the idea. |
