Introduction Campus Grow is a registered student organization at Central Michigan University whose gardens total about 30,000 ft² in size. The practice of sustainability is a guiding principle for this Non-Profit Student Organization. Campus Grow utilizes and researches non-toxic and organic means of producing a variety of open-pollinated fruits and vegetables in a polyculture, rather than monoculture, setting. The produce is then utilized by volunteers and interns for their own consumption and pursuit of a healthy diet. The rest of our produce is either sold to raise funds for the gardens, donated directly to students and the community, or is offered to local soup kitchens. After two years of development, Campus Grow is now operating as a Michigan Non-Profit and a Student Organization at CMU through the Ethics Center. The fledgling Center For Sustainable Systems is a new partner at CMU, as is the Environmental Studies Department.
