Introduction	Recently described by a friend of mine as, "Cathy- Doctor, Forum Moderator, Asthmatic, Marathon Runner, NUTTER!", I'm a GP working within the NHS. I have volunteered with Asthma UK for a number of years now, focussing mainly on the Kick-Asthma residential educational holidays for children with asthma. I have asthma myself so the challenge of running 26.2 miles is going to be a bit tougher than for "normal" people - but this will be a huge personal achievement. Track my training progress here!
