| Introduction | I am a normal person with a normal life who happened to find tremendous success in selling our house in Orlando, FL. When my husband and I decided that it was time to sell our house and move back to North Carolina, I immediately began researching. I knew that every move I made would be critical, as would the timing, since we were selling in the summer of 2008 when the bottom dropped out of the real estate market. Armed with years of HGTV and Internet research, I found a Realtor and, with her advice I formulated an action plan to sell our house. My plan was more successful than we could ever have imagined. We sold our house in 27 days for 98% of our asking price! We closed four weeks later. The entire journey, from "Let's Sell" through to "Sign here" at closing took twelve weeks!
