| Introduction | WE ARE: a group of progressively-minded young adults (20s-30’s) in the Northern Virginia area. Most of us have roots in various Christian traditions, but we value interfaith conversations and welcome seekers from all backgrounds. We seek and value diversity in race, gender, sexual orientation, denominational preference and outlook on life. Some of us are connected to progressive Christian congregations, (including Vienna Baptist Church and Little River UCC church, which sponsor this ministry). Some of us are simply seeking greater clarity about religious faith and spiritual practice. Some of us use religious language, saying we seek a deeper experience of God and a life of faithful discipleship. Some of us would say we are seeking meaning and purpose, ways to live more mindfully. All of us are seekers -- knowing that there is always more to learn about what gives meaning, purpose and abundance to life, and about how to make ourselves more available to the needs of a hurting world. |
