| Introduction | Hi. Welcome to my blog. I am 67 years old, single (though co-habiting with my two cats, Samantha and Tabitha) live in Harlow and I am an avid chess player. These facts are not necessarily related. I play chess for Bishops Stortford, Ilford and Essex. I have recently taken up creative writing and have had my debut novel - Sherlock Holmes & the Ciphered List published (6th June 2022) by Breese Books. I am interested in politics and history. I have a PhD in politics from London Metropolitan University with a thesis on the campaign to abolish capital punishment in Britain. That thesis is the basis of my book: The Politics of the Rope (15 October 2012, Arena, softback, £18.99) I currently work for St Elizabeth's, a charity that supports a centre for those with epilepsy and related conditions. |
