| Introduction | I've always been a pretty independent person and as such it's taken me a while to develop strong political opinions. Over the last 5-10 years I've learned a lot about myself and the world around me and recent events have inspired me to start this blog. It really saddens me to see politics in this country degenerate into an "us" versus "them" atmosphere. This blog is meant to cut through the talking points to get to the heart of the political topic of the day in an effort to understand differing points of view with the hope that solutions can be found, i.e. forget bipartisanship, this is a no party zone...hmmm that didn't come out right. |
