| Introduction | Lifelong foodie and culinary nutritionist Katherine Matutes, PhD shares her flavorful recipes that are delicious, easy and healthy. Katherine believes that taste is the most important component to good nutrition because “if it doesn’t taste good, they won’t eat it”- Julia Child. Katherine is the Director of Health and Wellness at the Indianapolis JCC where she helps individuals, families and communities adopt healthier lifestyles. She received a doctorate in nutrition from Purdue University and has been a certified personal trainer for over 20 years. She is also an RYT 200 hour certified yoga instructor. Her expertise includes healthy cooking, weight management, sports, cardiovascular and wellness nutrition. Additionally, Dr. Matutes has completed the certificate in training for Childhood, Adolescent and Adult Weight Management by the American Dietetic Association. |
