| Introduction | Dr. Mahesh Bhatt (MD and CEO of MMBSHS Trust) is a surgeon, author, researcher, and public health consultant with over three decades of experience with Government, Nongovernment, Academic, and Corporate Organizations as a clinician, researcher, educator, administrator, and health consultant. His work has focused on spiritual health, climate change and health, health advocacy, medical ethics, public health systems, health promotion, and well-being. He is a regular speaker at national and international forums, seminars, and academic institutions. He is a member of the ASI, IPHA, IMA, Institutional Ethics Committee of HNB Garhwal University, WMA, IUHPE, IHLA, GCHA, INSS, SMN, and Global Consortium on Climate and Health Education. His work on the spiritual dimension of health has led to a paradigm shift in the understanding of spirituality and its role in health within public health and healthcare systems.
