| Introduction | I am fearless...because fearless is not the absence of fear. It’s not being completely unafraid. To me, fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts…lots of them. To me, fearless is living in spite of those things that scare you to death. It is seeing the insurmountable wall up ahead and continuing forward with the faith that that there will be a hidden door to let you through. It is leaving behind everything that you have ever known and loved for an opportunity or experience that you are told will make you better in the long run. It is standing on the cliffs of existence and trusting those in your life enough to catch you when you fall. Fearless is learning to love yourself and others and believing that Christ has power to heal your hurts, triumph over your inadequacies, and strengthen you when you feel you can’t go on. Fearless is living every moment, laughing every day, and loving beyond words. |
