| Introduction | Ancient, retired civil servant who is an arthritic technophobe. I retired from DWP at the end of July 2009 due to health problems, stress, anger and frustration at politicians who come up with ever dafter ideas of how to get the unemployed into work when they haven't got a clue. Past lives include nursing, customer service and lots, lots more. Now I'm working on poetry and short story writing. I have lived in the West Country for most of my life but I was born in a car in Sussex! I have 2 adult daughters and one of them has given me 3 grand-children, the other is Emma - Star's Mum and keeper of Ade and all the furries, woolies, featheries etc. - and I'm very proud of both. |

| Favorite movies | I love all the Aardman films because their observations and attention to detail are nothing short of amazing. Watch Shaun the Sheep and you'll see what I mean! |
| Favorite music | The very best is birdsong but I used to like all kinds from classical and opera to artists like Queen, Meatloaf, Neil Diamond, Bette Midler etc. but now I rarely listen as I'm too busy. |
| Favorite books | I love cookery books and the only book I have read in the last few years is called Hen and the Art of Chicken Maintenance by Martin Gurdon. It's so funny I've read it three times |
