Introduction I've been reading and writing since before I went to nursery school, which I think indicates that my cravings were always to learn and to communicate. I also enjoy what I think of as "synthesizing", combining elements to create something new. A friend once described me as an "earthworm", transforming useless dirt into valuable, nutrient soil, or alternatively, compressing black carbon into diamonds. I hope he is right. I enjoy expanding myself. I've been adventurous in my life, perhaps taking too many risks in areas such as my career or my livelihood, although for me the exploration is far more important than the stasis of status. I like to keep moving, but I will not let go of the things that are important or essential. However, these days I am entering into the latter third of my life and currently see my main goal as accomplishing as many of my unfulfilled dreams as I can in the time left. I want to have no deathbed regrets!
