Introduction	The kids and I started SCD June 2006, redid intro June 2007. Hubby joined the bandwagon in March 2008. "Labels" and symptoms that we are successfully treating with SCD: Myself: Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis (autoimmune), Depression, Avoidant Personality Disorder, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, RLS, R Arthritis, PCOS, Bipolar tendencies, IBS, ADD, rosacea, yeast/candida, salicylate intolerance (I’m on no meds thanks to SCD! I'm healthy!) Son, 5 yrs old: Chronic diarrhea, yeast/candida, salicylate intolerance, ADHD, Asperger traits (no meds, normal stools, and near normal behavior thanks to SCD, still improving…) Daughter, 7 yrs old: My NT(neurotypical ie "normal") kid, who turns out did have some minor GI issues and salicylate intolerance (healthier than ever, absolutely thriving since SCD) Hubby: Started diet on 3/23/08 after struggling with sugar and processed carb addiction for years; hoping to treat his lactose intolerance, degenerative disc disease, arthritic spine, mood swings, and memory issues (and maybe his dyslexia as well!) Our dogs are SCD too! (Cleared up the chronic diarrhea that puppy had and allowed him to stop taking the meds that the previous owner had him on).
