Introduction	I'm a professional costume designer working in the Chicago area. I work with professional theatres, opera companies, and schools to create beautiful, wearable works of art. I learned to sew from my mom and grandmother as soon as I could hold a needle, and followed my love of sewing to a BFA in Costume Design from Columbia College Chicago. In 2011 I turned a way to pass time between shows into a full-blown business selling handmade purses on Etsy. I live in the near-west suburbs and share a historic Chicago Bungalow with my extremely patient and supportive husband, and our rescued hound dog.
