| Introduction | Why "Between Worlds"? From my birth in New York and then my transfer to Hollywood, then a fascinating community of expat European actors and artists, I've always lived in the shadows of other places and persons.Like an amputee obsessing over his lost limbs, I've always had my imagined playmates and alternative places to live where I could play alternate roles, lead diverse lives, and be whoever I want. Even before I finally fully experienced the blessed bi-polarity of mind and spirit that psychedelics revealed and confirmed for me, I recognized kindred spirits in romantic poets and rock musicians, I already knew in my core that our alleged primordial unity is all bullshit, all lies.So early in my life's journey I adopted the motto "YES, BUT, THE OPPOSITE IS ALSO TRUE!" |
