| Introduction | Tim Hawbaker has been a major advocate for responsible building practices for the last 8 years. In 2001, he began to focus his energy on the Insulated Concrete Forms industry in Tennessee, a market he discovered to be under served and overpriced. He now assists consumers in reducing the energy loads in their homes and promotes zero-energy building structures. Tim Hawbaker is a licensed Industrial, Commercial and Residential General Contractor. He is a LEED AP and a Green Building Professional. He is also a participating member of the Green Building Council and the National Home Builders Association. He is a certified AIA instructor and certified NAHB instructor through the "Train the Trainer" Program. Tim's zeal in his mission to educate the consumer and the industry about alternative ways of building smarter and better using efficient technology is contagious to the listener. He has been providing classes on building to the public, heard on different radio shows as a featured guest and has brought his AIA certified course to many architect and engineering firms throughout Tennessee. |
