| Favorite movies | Scott Gifford created Scott Gifford Studios after a successful career at Sony Electronics Inc. where he helped to promote the camcorder industry with the introduction of the Sony Handycam. Scott's involvement included promotional marketing activities and the development of training and instructional videos, as well as a lot of travelling. When he married and became a dad, he made the decision to change course and start his own video production company. SRG Productions began as a corporate video production company focused on marketing and training videos. Early clients included Sony, Morecom, and PE Biosystems. In the process of developing new marketing ideas, Scott attended a video production trade show, and that's where he saw his first professional wedding video. He was impressed and inspired. Scott could see how wedding videos could be a highly creative, approaching Hollywood level artistry. In 1998, after several years freelancing with some of the top video production companies in the Philadelphia market, Scott added wedding cinematography to his list of services. This new venture allowed Scott to really tap into his creativity and produce videos that people would cherish for a lifetime. Today. Scott's passion for his craft has earned him the reputation as one of the finest videographers in the Philadelphia region. |
