| Introduction | Physical activity has always been my passion. However, I have found a new population of interest within the field. After working on a project to increase physical activity in older adults, it is evident that there must be more focus in this arena. I have also worked with children from ages 8-18 who were struggling with their weight. These experiences make it apparent that fitness must be a lifelong endeavor. I am currently in my second year of the MPH program at San Diego State University and am working on my thesis based on a physical activity intervention in older adults. |
