Restore The Truth
My blogs
| Introduction | In 1993, Evansville Police Officer Patrick Bradford was convicted of murdering Ms. Tamara Lohr, with whom he was having an extramarital affair. He was also convicted of committing arson to destroy the scene of the crime. As the investigators and prosecution built an outlandish case against Bradford, based entirely on flimsy circumstantial evidence, and the media distorted and sensationalized the case, justice and truth were kicked under the rug. This resulted in one of the most shocking convictions in Evansville's history, allowing a true killer to remain free and ultimately denying justice for both Tammy Lohr and Patrick Bradford. Nearly 20 years have passed since then, but rather than fading away, the shame and stench of justice denied have intensified. Many of the major players are out of power now, and some in the community are calling for the truth to be restored. This page is a reflection for that call for truth and exists to make known the little known facts concerning the misdeeds of the investigation and prosecution, as well as the new developments that further exonerate Patrick Bradford and promote true justice for Tammy. |
