| Introduction | I’m Chris Powici. I write poetry, teach English Literature and creative writing for the Open University and Stirling University, and I edit the literary magazine Northwords Now. A selection of my poems, Somehow This Earth, was published by Diehard in 2009. When not writing, teaching or editing I like to explore Scottish parts of the earth by bicycle. The poems, occasional bits of other writing and pictures in this blog have emerged from those journeys. I've no idea how this blog will turn out. I guess I'm just curious to see if blogging is a good way of putting some of my poems out in the world and finding what people make of them (if anybody reads this!). |
