Introduction I have been interested in food, nutrition and complementary therapies since a young age. In 2004 when I found I had benign MS, inspired by a book by Judy Graham, I looked in to natural ways I could help myself maintain health. I saw a kinesiologist and dabbled with diet, removing or reducing some foods stuffs. This began my hunt for wheat-free, dairy-free recipes low in fat. I was well and very active until 2010 when things started to slide a little and I had my first relapse. Since then I have committed wholeheartedly to diet. I have always enjoyed cookbooks. Frustrated that these days I can usually only make a handful of the recipes, I decided to have a go! I am testing and collecting recipes to compile my own 'cookbook' folder where each and every one is a tasty MS friendly feast. Some have been also been tasted by people not on special diets and given the thumbs up too!
Interests Trying new recipes, mindfulness meditation, time with family and friends, photography.
Favorite Movies I like a film that lifts my spirits and reminds me what it's all about. Recently I enjoyed 'Remember Me' and 'As good as it gets' and I also found myself really laughing out loud at a silly comedy 'Grown Ups'.
