| Introduction | If you went looking for me, you might find me on the large island of the Kerguelen Archipelago in the southern Indian Ocean. I live with my handicapped dog Charley, who has been a faithful companion for many years. I mainly subsist on Kerguelen Cabbage and the occasional albatross. My drink of preference is Southern Comfort, although I have discovered it is difficult to come by out here. I live alone by choice, but not because I am a misanthrope. I like people. I think it's just that I still don't know how to live with them. |
