| Introduction | Bernie Schulenburg is an ambitious inventor of distinguished matters and an earnest creator of outstanding, sometimes secret objects, the list of which includes elderberry jelly, secret Pari-Pari, soft-machinery of various sorts and never before seen abstract formal systems. Very occasionally he is the wearer of a specific derby hat, recently acquired at a garage sale. He is also proud to be the business partner of a black cat, named Stanislaus. |
