| Introduction | I've been married to my wonderful husband for over 25 years and have 2 beautiful grown children, and my first precious grandchild. They are my greatest creations. I enjoy making beautiful things that bless and encourage others. But my greatest passion is my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and using my talents and gifts for His glory. I have a degree in counseling and training in chaplaincy. I also had the opportunity to serve as Bereavement Coordinator for a local hospice organization for a couple of years. I also know what it is like to be a full-time caregiver. My dad lived with us for 10 years. When he fell in January 2007, he became bed-bound and was never able to stand on his own again. I cared for all of his needs until his passing in September 2007. I have known deep, heart-rending anguish and grief and have survived because the Lord has walked with me through those dark places. He is bringing healing to my deepest wounds. The Lord NEVER wastes our pain, but gives beauty for ashes when we let Him have it. I have always been drawn to those who are hurting. Being an encourager is very much a part of who I am. |
