| Introduction | For a change, a French teacher who really doesn't care much about grammar. It's not that I don't love it personally (who doesn't?��) It's not that I don't think my students are "smart enough" for it. It's just that I don't believe it's the most efficient route to communication. That is, to getting my students to understand and make themselves understood in French. I firmly believe that the quickest and most enjoyable route to this goal is comprehensible input. In other words, getting my students to engage with the French language in meaningful contexts appropriate to their level. |
