Introduction | I've been fascinated with capturing old buildings in ink and paint since childhood. I'm a full-time artist who had completed over twenty years worth of architectural illustrations and house portraits throughout the Northeast. My paintings celebrate the visually absorbing shapes, colors, textures and eccentric details of the urban/rural landscape. I've developed an original technique which is characterized by precise ink images with acrylic tones painted over each other, resembling semi-opaque layers. I've recently discovered Esty, Fine Art America and the potential for marketing my artwork to a much wider audience. I'm passionate about cities and making paintings that explore the mood and sense of place that old buildings create within our lives. I enjoy skiing, hiking, mountain biking and the great saga of restoring my own old house. |
