Introduction	I am a textile artist and art teacher. I use recycled fabrics where possible and gain huge satisfaction from creating beautiful art works from cast off fabrics. I am a tutor for a Creative Sketchbooks course delivered online through Distant Stitch and I love sharing the exciting work of my students. In this blog I hope to share my own creative development along with that of my students.
Interests	Art, machine embroidery, printmaking, theatre, cookery and my family. I belong to machine embroidery groups based at the Kingcombe Centre and Urchfont Manor. I exhibit and sell my pictures in galleries in south west England. I enjoy teaching and encouraging others to have a go, dusting off old sewing machines and using them to have fun. In partnership with my daughter we are taking our textile art to local craft fairs. We use recycled fabrics and papers and one of our specialities is fairies with attitude!
