Introduction	I am a full-time paramedic with a local county EMS agency. I worked for 16 years both part-time and full-time in 911 Communications and will always be a telecommunicator in my heart though now I work in the field full-time. I began my EMS career at 15 years of age and am still going strong. I am writing this blog as a means to DE-STRESS and put my thoughts in writing. I was recently elected to the Clayton Town Council and am excited to sit on "the other side" of the podium and not be on the "asking" side for a change. I plan to write a book one day and I think this is a great way to start putting my thoughts in writing.
Interests	Collecting vintage public safety items, watching Retro TV (Adam 12, Emergency!), networking with other 911 Communications and EMS professionals, traveling North Carolina and enjoying what our state has to offer. I also really enjoy teaching EMD courses all over the southestern united states.
Favorite Movies	The Bucket List, In the Heat of the Night (original version), Urban Cowboy, American President, An Affair to Remember, Sleepless in Seatle, all Tyler Perry movies, anything with good music and a good story.
