| Introduction | Ms. Legault graduated from the University of Ottawa with a BA in English. She earned her Teaching Degree at McGill University in Montreal. She has completed numerous additional qualification courses including Physical Education , Special Education and the Principal Qualifications. She has worked in Special Education, as well as in the regular classroom teaching grades 1 to 8. She is married with three children, one boy aged 12 and twin girls aged 10. In her spare time she enjoys running, reading and 'blogging'. She is an avid gardener and won the Mayor's Award for home gardening for the Community in Bloom contest in Vaughan. The majority of her teaching career was in inner city schools in Toronto. She moved with her family to Petawawa in 2008 to enjoy the beautiful surroundings along the Ottawa river and to take advantage of the wonderful opportunities for her children in Renfrew County. She also has also found a renewed sense of spirit and optimism as she has moved into her career in Administration. |
