| Introduction | I'm from Wutoeschingen, a small village in Southern Germany, on the border of the Black Forest, 5 miles from the Swiss border. My Dad is a shoemaker and so was my Grandfather. My mom is a retired tailor. I always tell everybody that I grew up in a shoe store. Our apartment was above the store. My brother still owns the shoe store, he moved it to the City of Singen/Htwl on the beautiful Lake of Constance. I enjoy visiting and buying shoes, of course. I'm a long arm quilter. I love quilting for customers on my APQS Millennium. Like a true Shoemaker's Daughter I rarely get to work on my own quilts, unless I attend a retreat with my quilting friends. |
