Introduction	We are residents and businesses in residing and working in the Geylang area of Singapore. In recent years, the surge of foreign street-walkers and illegal prostitution solicitings have badly affected our lives and peacefulness. We are disappointed with the authorities' inability to curb the problems alongside with the news of crimes attracted to these areas. We have no political agenda nor commercial interests ( such as brothel operators ). We just want the return of peace and security as every government should provide for their citizens; this being one of the pre-requisite of our human rights to move around freely in the public places without being embarrassed or intimidated by the street-walkers or their associates ( eg. pimps, lookouts, gangsters )or johns.
