| Introduction | Although Kirk/Spock is my ship, I'm actually a Trek fan - I've been trying to catch up with Films and Series, and writing a few pieces of political and cultural issues in ST verse, posted in other place, of course. And yet, I think I'm not devoted enough to be qualified as a trekkie, nor a trekker.
I do try to keep my perspective mainly in the ST canon (K/S is canon!), but the fandom is just too awesome to be ignored. There are countless brilliant authors writing countless brilliant fanfics. And since English is not my mother language, I'd rather be a reader, and occasionally a translator, maybe. However, my very first and all-time favorite slash ship will always be Elijah/Daneel of Asimov's Robots, and if someday I ever come up with some not-so-stupid ideas for a detective story, I'll write it down, hopefully. And, Charles/Erik (Professor X and Magneto), how can I resist that Erik calling Charles being his greatest enemy, only friend, and his only EQUAL? Also, Eric/Godric of True Blood. Even though I stick with The Southern Vampire Mysteries novels, I'm still fond of the centuries of love between them. |
