| Introduction | My wife Elaine and I have been married for 11 wonderful years. We have three children: Jacob (10), Eli (7), and Samantha Kate (4). We live in Sparta. As the youngest child of two public educators, I have passionately pursued excellence in academics and co-curricular activities from a very early age. My journey as an educator began in the Fall of 1996 as a special educator at Pinewood Middle School in East Kentwood. I worked for East Kentwood for three years. During that time, I also coached JV boys basketball at East Grand Rapids. I was hired by Sparta Area Schools as a special education teacher and varsity boys basketball coach in the fall of 1999. In the Spring of 2006, I was hired as the Assistant Principal of Sparta High School. I became the principal of Sparta High School in June of 2008. GO SPARTANS! |
