| Introduction | Archaeology has been an important part of Strawbery Banke Museum since it's founding - information gathered from archaeological investigations is used to shape the museum's collections and restored buildings. This the the fourth summer that our annual archaeology field school is excavating at the Chase House on the museum grounds. In the past three years we have uncovered numerous artifacts and found the foundations of a former kitchen ell to the house and a brick-lined privy pit. |
