Introduction | I enjoy reading good books and watching historical epic movies—in any language. When I really want to escape the rest of the world, I design landscapes and write stories and histories to accompany them. I love the sense of wonder that comes from discovering something new, especially when traveling to places where I encounter whole new worlds. If money were unlimited, I would travel all over the world, learning about peoples, their food, and the architecture, then design some of my themed dream homes and worship spaces on my Norwegian farmstead. A more realistic dream is to have a farmstead of my own, where Michelle and I can build everything we need, raise our food, make our own clothes, and I can spend the winters reading, writing, and teaching at a local college or seminary. |
