| Introduction | I like to start and finish a project (or two, or three) in a few hours. I like immediate results. So, everything on this blog can be made in the average nap time of a toddler (between 40 and 120 minutes) - allowing for one cup of tea only.
I am not a sewing guru. I bought a little Singer sewing machine from Lidl in December 2009 and have been teaching myself this and that ever since. For most of these projects, you will need: an iron, a sewing machine, good scissors, and a stash of fabric (or a fabric shop nearby). It also helps to have on hand: elastic, ribbon of varying colours, fun buttons, iron-on appliques, or other 'garnishes', and a rotary cutter, board and ruler. Please feel free to make and use any of these ideas for yourselves, but not for profit. And if you do use them, give this blog a wee mention or a link back. It would give me a nice change when I look at my stats and see that 99% of people who come here are in fact looking for Octonauts colouring pages. (True.) |
