| Introduction | I grew up on a farm approximately eight miles outside of Palisade, Nebraska (located in the far southwest corner of the state). My school day memories centered around friendships with five classmates and a best friend: Gayle Vrbas, Wade Finley, Scot Knudson, Troy Lampman, Brad Nelson and my best friend, Michael Maris. We experienced together conference and regional championships. We almost saw our dream of becoming state champions in basketball and other memories that will last for a life time. I went to Mid-America College in Olathe, Kansas on a basketball scholarship and then transfered over to Vennard College, in University Park, Iowa to finish my degree in Bible / Christian Education. Married Kelly Diane Grillo (August 1, 1987)out in Stockton, California. Savannah Hope was born July 2, 1994. Mikayla Grace was born August 30, 1996. Dawson H. Benjamin was born June 15, 2000. Olivia Noelle was born December 30, 2002. |
