| Introduction | Texas girl meets Idaho boy while both are freshmen at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. It's a blind date setup by Casey's roommate, who happened to be in fencing class with Scott. Casey's first date with "Fencing Scott" as he was called was kicker dancing at Bluebonnet Palace with Casey's entire dorm. The two have never two-stepped since. The college days were eventful, with Scott and Casey even sharing a car one semester while they weren't dating! After graduation, we adopted an orange cat, Inca, and headed to Davis, CA for Scott's grad degree in computer science. There, we added to the brood with calico cat, Mesa. From there, we chose Colorado Springs since it's beautiful and nicely placed between Idaho and Texas. Aspen, our German shepherd, joined the family. Casey launched her business in 1998 and changed the name to Compelling Cases in 2001. After 5 years in the Springs, Scott's job took us to Santa Fe for 6 years. Santa Fe was beautiful and interesting, but TOO quiet. Now, we're in Boulder, CO and are loving the small town, mountains, 144 miles of trails, trees, grass, friendly people, tons of stuff to do, and good food. Please come visit! |
